Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to direct a business not to "sell" or "share" their personal information. "Sale" means disclosing personal information to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. "Sharing" means disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. This page explains how to exercise that right with Fair Home Cash.
We want to be transparent: Fair Home Cash shares and sells the leads you submit to third-party buyer partners — including independent real estate investors and cash home buyers — so they can make you offers on your property. This is a "sale" and "share" under the CCPA/CPRA.
Separately, the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics tags on our website may transmit browsing behavior and conversion data to those advertising platforms, which is also considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, email us at optout@fairhomecash.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share." Include the name, email address, and phone number you used so we can locate your record. We will process your request within 15 business days.
We honor opt-out preference signals sent by your browser, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser or a browser extension transmits a GPC signal when you visit our site, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information for that browser and device automatically — no email required.
You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of your written authorization and verify your identity directly.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your right to opt out. We will not deny you services, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you opted out.
